I Have an Eichler Home. What Are My Heating and Cooling Options?

Eichler homes here were built with radiant floor heating and no central duct system, making traditional forced-air installation impractical without significant structural modifications. Ductless mini-split systems are the most common fit: they provide heating and cooling without requiring ductwork, preserve the architectural character of the home, and can be zoned by room. We have experience working in Eichler homes and can walk you through your floor plan options.

My Home Was Built in the 1960s. How Do I Know If the Ductwork Is Still Sound?

Most 1960s duct systems in Cupertino were sealed with materials that degrade with age.
