Josh & Diago came out to replace our through-the-wall AC unit. They were on-site promptly at the scheduled time and were very professional; tarping out the area around the workspace to avoid any messes. They made quick work of replacing the old wall sleeve and AC unit with the new model. They were done in about 3 hours and the end result looks & runs great. We're very satisfied with the quality of service we received with AAA Furnace and will be reaching out to them again for any future HVAC needs.

Reliable, honest HVAC contractor Jan 25, 2025

I recommend AAA Furnace and A/C to you as a reliable, honest, quality, and responsible heating, cooling, and air conditioning (HVAC) contractor. I waited over a year to post this review. I wanted to be sure that our HVAC system worked reliably. It does. This is thanks to AAA Furnace and Air Conditioning (A/C), and to Jim Randall, the firm's owner, and his team. Jim was a fair negotiator, a responsible businessman, and a solid heating and cooling expert. Our air conditioner (A/C) was not cooling during midsummer 2023. We suspected it was leaking refrigerant into our attic, but we were unsure if that was the case. To diagnose and repair the problem, we hired six firms and paid each of them a service fee to diagnose the problem. Of those firms, four were dishonest, and two, one being AAA Furnace, were good contractors. We chose AAA Furnace because they were the best among the six firms. (Note: we called three other firms, two of which replied honestly that they were overbooked, and another did not reply.) AAA diagnosed our cooling issues as refrigerant leaks. They said that the leaks were in our evaporator (a big part that is next to the furnace’s air intake) and the condenser (the machine that is on a concrete pad outside our house). The only solution was to replace the A/C system in its entirety, including new coolant lines. AAA Furnace did this work quickly and well. Unfortunately, our A/C failed the following week. Jim sent three different technicians without charge to our house to diagnose the core issue of the new failure: two technicians said that we did not have a large enough return-air supply to support the capacity of our HVAC system, and therefore our evaporator was making a block of ice that reduced the system's cooling capability. (Note: that problem dates to an addition to our house by the prior homeowner who should then have up-sized the return-air supply.) Jim took it upon himself to tell me the bad news that we would have to spend several thousand dollars more to add ductwork to our HVAC system. We agreed on a price, and the system has been working well ever since then. AAA Furnace recently completed a no-cost one-year review of our system. No problems existed. We are happy to call AAA Furnace and Air Conditioning our preferred HVAC contractor, but they might have done a few things better: 1. The second estimator who came after the coolant leaks were found, should have offered us model options for the A/C condenser. 2. Although we like our Carrier A/C that we now have, I may have chosen a different model had they offered it to me. 3. The ductwork was installed in a substandard way. It should have hangers attached to support the weight. 4. The new vent for the return-air supply is out of square. We have to force the rectangular filters into the return-air supply vent.

Excellent Customer Service Jul 12, 2024

Our AC went out during the hottest week of the year, and I couldn't find anyone to replace it until the beginning of August. I called AAA and explained that my 86-year-old mother was coming home from the hospital after back surgery, and I needed the AC replaced as soon as possible. The owners, Marissa and Jim Rando, were fantastic and had their very capable crew out the very next day! I am extremely happy with the excellent customer service and the work performed by AAA. I will recommend them to all my friends and will definitely use them again for all my heating and AC needs. Thank you again, Marissa and Jim!
